VISION
Following Jesus as a fisher of men while teaching others to do the same. - Matthew 4:19
MISSION
Partnering with the local church to equip God’s people for life changing evangelism and discipleship; And building relational bridges throughout the body of Christ, so that our unity helps the world to believe the Father has sent His Son. This happens as God’s Spirit leads us in making Jesus known, loved and obeyed.

Training & launching small groups /'class meetings'
|
Jesus’ main method in making disciples was a small group. The group consisted of apprentices who were to be like their Leader. Following Jesus’ model, the early Methodists formed class meetings, which were the heart of the movement for almost 200 years. It is my great desire to help our churches recover this long neglected method of the Methodists! The majority of conversions during the Wesleyan revival took place within these redemptive groups. My work is to gather these ‘small groups’ from the church and community. Our focus is the intersection of Scripture and life experience, which brings transformation. A constant goal is to apprentice leaders for these groups who will in turn train others This is a clear "method of Jesus" in making disciples. In the first 100 years of the Methodist movement, "class meetings" were the front lines of evangelism and discipleship. These weekly meetings were required for people to be in the movement. We need a recovery of "the method of Jesus" and the "method of the Methodists."

Cultivating Hispanic ministries & partnerships
Blessed to be a blessing expresses God’s desire for humanity. Our Hispanic brothers and sisters have come to this country seeking economic blessing; and we get to share with them the greatest blessing . . . the love of God in Christ.
|
I partner with local churches to develop and launch Hispanic ministries within congregations. I also partner with churches to create short term mission programs overseas and create partnerships between the church in the United States and the church in Latin America. The mutual blessings that come from such efforts are phenomenal!
One of the greatest joys in being with our amigos from Latin America is experiencing how the Good News of Jesus transcends peoples, cultures, nationalities, languages and geography! When a young man from Chiapas, Mexico with dark skin and Mayan facial features trusts in Jesus to rescue him from his sins, new life comes just as it happens with all who trust in Christ! If we would see God’s sovereignty in the people movements around the planet, then the church would mobilize offering them Christ in word and action. |
BUT OUR CITIZENSHIP IS IN HEAVEN. AND WE EAGERLY AWAIT A SAVIOR FROM THERE, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. ” “Porque nuestra ciudadanía está en los cielos, de donde también esperamos ardientemente al Salvador, el Señor Jesucristo. ” |
